Wow! I've been looking at various interpretations of this and the way you frame it provides a context which I have not seen before and which applies easily rather than being some abstract list of positions of astrological formations which makes my brain glaze over! (I guess there are astrologers and people who are more like consumers) I don't really want to learn it. I just want know what it means! This certainly makes Leo season feel a little bit more digestible and less of a total sh*t show that makes me want to run screaming for the hills!

Oh how I need to say what I actually want from a certain person and yet it's so hard to say. But I know if I don't, we'll simply get nowhere and I'll stay the smaller, albeit he would never admit to that. And after 50 years together, I can't do this for another 20 years, if, we live that long!
It’s sarcastic :) The Lions gate portal has nothing to do with astrology whatsoever, so I personally see it as a marketing tool loosely based on numerology.

I think it mostly generates clicks well. To my knowledge, it’s a bunch of different things smashed together and wrapped in a pretty bow. First, there’s the ancient Egyptian significance of Sirius reappearing in the sky after being invisible for a while, which roughly coincided with the flooding of the Nile. But there’s no specific tie to August 8 at all. The 8/8 part is basically a pretty date with modern numerological associations around the number 8. And finally, the “lion” part comes from the Sun being in Leo at this time according to the tropical zodiac.
I related to this! Im a Leo, rising sag, and i said to my partner this morning that starting to show up online was going to spill into other areas of my life, and the mire i soeak my truth the less agreeable i will be!
As a scorpion rising, I did accept a bigger role at work. And I do see myself in this career for a longtime. Aside from that I came back out with my creative work.
